Carolyn Little is a seventy-one year old grandmother from Sydney, who has two sons and two granddaughters.
For most of her career, Carolyn was a Head Science teacher at schools in Sydney. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Mathematics, and a Master of Science degree in Astronomy.
Carolyn fell in love with the area around Cairns and the Daintree while visiting her son, who gave her the idea of researching the Daintree ulcer as a subject for her book. She credits her Year Three teacher with the encouragement to be an author. It has only taken about sixty years to achieve this.
Bergstrom’s Orange is Carolyn’s first novel. She is currently researching a second novel featuring Jason McNeil.
